Hey guys, here's a new character I've been working on in my "Advanced Character, Environment, and Prop Design" independent study class. His name is Fillin (which means "Little Wolf" in Gaelic) and he's an Irish Wolfhound who just wants a friend.
Unfortunately blogger dulls certain colors, this seems to be the case for this piece.
Anyway, many more concept pieces to come!
Enjoy!

New iPhone Case
Hey everyone,
just a quick update! I made a new iPhone 4 case for myself. I wanted it to match my blog and my business cards. Plus, I think it looks really cool. I really enjoy making these cases, hopefully I can make some more in my free time.
This is a quick little design I threw together for a friend in Illustrator. Just a break from school work to flex my illustrator muscle.

ZBrush Kangaroo!
So, for this semester I am taking a class that teaches a digital sculpting program called ZBrush. I'm so happy I'm finally able to learn this program, it's too fun! Anyway, here's my first project, just a simple head sculpt. I took Flyer, my old kangaroo character (from a few posts ago, just click "character" to see who I'm talking about), and made him digital 3D! I still want to add a few more textures to him, and hopefully I'll be able to get around to that soon.
Anyway, please enjoy!
Anyway, please enjoy!

Goose Girl
So, school is back in full swing here at Ringling. It's still hard to believe I'm a senior! Things picked up pretty much the second we got back.
My first illustration assignment was a children's book illustration. I chose the story of The Goose Girl. If you're interested in reading it, you can find it here. Below are my two illustrations and process for said story. I chose to do paper sculptures for it, I felt the style and look fit the story well.
